Our client provides floating production solutions to the offshore energy industry. It owns and operates a large fleet of FPSO's which recently achieved more than 1 million barrels of oil per day.
In our engineering office located in Six Fours Les Plages ( 83) , you will work on the Basic Design of the hull of an FPSO.
The Naval Architect is responsible of execution of naval architecture activities according to Class Rules and Client specifications. It includes stability calculations, general documentation such GA and layout, and arrangement of accommodation block. In this respect, you will join the Naval Architecture team of about 5 engineers and prepare the deliverables assigned to you with high level of technical quality and efficiency during the project execution. Your knowledge in naval architecture will also ensure correct application of state of the art design principles and methodology. Your contribution will be key to achieve compliant and cost effective hull to the client satisfaction.

Expérience : 4 à 6 ans
|
Niveau d'études : Bac +5
|

We are looking for candidates who have an MSc or BSc degree or equivalent in Offshore Structures / Naval Architecture. You have between 5 and 15 years of relevant working experience with the naval architecture.
Furthermore you have:
? Experience and technical knowledge of stability calculation.
? Familiarity with classification society rules (i.e. ABS, DNV GL, BV and Lloyds).
? Experience of engineering and design of floating units in the oil and gas industry.
Preferably you have knowledge of interfaces with related disciplines, i.e. mooring, topsides and other equipment.
Preferably you have experience with NAPA software.
Fluent in standard and technical English is mandatory, French is a plus.
To succeed in this mission, you would also need excellent editorial and communication skills (facility for social relationships in various cultural environments, team spirit, adaptability). You are able to do your work autonomously and to report any challenge or difficulties. |
