Introduction to the Job
Within this challenging environment of the energy industry, there is a constant need in the development new technologies for flexible pipes and in this context we search an engineer with experience in finite element models who is interested in joining our R&D team for the qualification and of our new Hybrid Flexible Pipe (composite) in Paris, France.
Job description
* Responsible for the finite elements analysis related to the Hybrid Flexible Pipes end fitting and its components as part of the development and qualification of the new product
* Capable to analyse complex results and correlates the results from the models with the qualification test data.
* Technical link with external clients and third parties.
* Elaborate reports and technical articles and contribute to demonstrate the progress on the qualification promoting the HFP internally and externally (with clients).
* Hierarchically reports to the R&D Lead Engineer on the HFP project Team
* Business travel in France and Europe may be required for internal meetings or to follow dedicated activities (not frequent).
* Interaction with a multicultural team that is working on the HFP project in different parts of the world (France, Brazil, United Kingdom)

Expérience : 4 à 6 ans
|
Niveau d'études : Bac +4
|

You are meant for this job if
* Engineering degree or equivalent in appropriate technical discipline with more than 5 years of experience in R&D and modelling.
* Proven expertise in running complex FEA models/analysis using state of the art FEA tools such as ABAQUS and/or ANSYS.
* Analytical and organizational skills, written & verbal communication (presentation skills). |
