A subsidiary of the SPIE Group, 26 000 people, we are tasty growing a global services company serving the oil and gas industry (3 500 people, 20 subsidiaries).
In order to launch an operations and maintenance project, located offshore in Qatar (4 weeks / 4 weeks off), we are looking for our : Contractor's Site Representative and Production Supervisor (to be mobilized April 15th).
Activities:
Team Leading
Responsible for his teams on site, he particularly:
Ensures the correct behaviour of his teams in accordance with the general safety regulations of the subsidiary and, if need be, takes the necessary corrective measures
He is the Contractor's HSE site representative
Organises on site the rotation schedules of his teams (administrative and logistical requirements, crew changes, etc.)
Ensures the quality of the whole operations by organizing audits and carries out regular visits and inspections of offshore platforms
Operations
Under Supervision of TOTAL's site production superintendent, he :
Plans production operations (routine and short-term) in association with the maintenance coordinator
Anticipates, plans and requests the logistical means necessary for smooth production & maintenance operations, taking the various constraints into account when planning and carrying out operations
Context and Environment
Average daily production of Al Khalij field: 150 000 bbls gross
Off shore field with five main production platforms and three well satellite platforms, connected to 2 processing facilities located on Halul Island, 120 km away from Qatar.
Around 40 production wells activated by electrical submersible pumps (ESP), 6 water injection wells for reservoir flooding, and 4 water source wells equipped with ESP's.
Position holder is located on Halul Island with 24-hrs duty on a 4 x 4 weeks rotation schedule.
Purpose
He is the technical representative of the CONTRACTOR on site.
He is responsible for the on-site management of the CONTRACTOR's production & maintenance teams (administrative, operational, coordinating, professional).
• Under the authority of TOTAL's Superintendents, he organises and plans production operations on site, whether these are carried out by his own teams or by outside teams.
He guarantees that the HSE rules and operating procedures in force in the COMPANY are respected, as well as the regulations in force in the CONTRACTOR's QA/QC handbook.
Qualifications required
Degree certificate
5 to 10 years' experience in the field of production on oil and gas production installations,
A knowledge of the principles related to the process and equipment of oil and gas treatment installations
Specific professional experience in :
wells equipped with ESP
hydrocyclone units
field control with DCS
Ability to direct/lead large multinational teams
Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others
Languages : English necessary, French an advantage
