For a Project which involves delivery of a new-build FPSO to be located in approximately 1300m of water offshore Angola. The topsides facilities will be designed to process 168 kbopd and to process 6.5 Msm3 of gas.

MAIN TASKS
Assist the Lead Process Engineer for the process engineering activities during the Basic Engineering Phase of the project.

SCOPE OF WORK
Assist with preparation of the CCFT documents fro Basic Engineering with respect to the process engineering requirements.

Review Contractors technical documents to ensure that they fulfil the requirements of the scope of work and are technically correct and complete.

Report to Lead Process Engineer on progress and on any conflicts or problems that may arise.

Ensure that the process design is in line with Company standards.

Incorporate input from the other engineering disciplines and Operations into the process design and assist with review of the other disciplines deliverables.

Assist the Lead Engineer to manage the interfaces between disciplines and between different contractors particularly with respect to flow assurance issues and interfaces between the subsea, topsides, Hull, OLS and GES.

Assist with closeout of HAZOP/PTR actions.

Perfom internal process studies and simulations.

Care must be taken to ensure that competition between the Contractors is fair and that details of each of the Contractors designs remain confidential.

Assist each of the Contractors to prepare technically acceptable bids within the constraints of the CCFT Basic Engineering schedule and budget.

Ensure timely review of Contractors technical documents.
 
PROFIL RECHERCHE
 
Expérience : 8 à 10 ans
Niveau d'études : Bac +4
 
QUALIFICATION
Degree in Chemical Engineering.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
At least 8 years as a process engineer.

Previous experience working for a reputable contractor at FEED or detailed design level for offshore projects.

He shall have been in the role of Senior Process Engineer responsible for a critical process or utility system.

Previous FPSO design experience preferred. Whilst previous experience in an perations role is beneficial, the majority of the Process Engineer's experience should be in a design role, and ideally working for the Contractor.

Experience using Hysys is essential.

Good overall knowledge of offshore process design practices (eg NORSOK) and specifications is essential including API standards.

A good overall understanding of the process engineering scope of work during Basic Engineering and how the process design impacts on the overall FPSO / project design is necessary.

LANGUAGES
Fluent English (French a plus)

LOCATION
Paris (Periodic travel to the various CCFT Contractors offices will be required during Basic Engineering).
