KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

General:
• Define service organization planning and functional
descriptions.
• Set up and maintain Quality Management System
• Maintain and update staff know-how, technical performance
of department and quality of engineering.
• Define technical area of improvement and action plan.
• Provide technical support to all discipline leaders.
• When subcontracting consult, negotiate offers, supervise
scope of work and change orders.
• Specify, maintain and update computer tools in connection
with IMS, suggest new acquisitions for Management.
• Ensure that HSEQ is complied with in discipline activities.
• Ensure technical lookout.
• Represent the Company at various Professional Bodies.

Resources Management:
• Define permanent and temporary staff resources
requirement based on workload.
• Participate to permanent and temporary staff recruitment in
connection with DRH.
• Ensure that all personnel are appraised-yearly.
• Ensure that all personnel receive adequate training.
• Propose individual promotions & salary adjustments to the
Department Manager.

Projects &. Tenders:
• Co-ordinate actions within Disciplines and client’s entities.
• Ensure that engineering work is carried out and optimized in
accordance with the DCE, Group procedures and industry
standards.
• Propose engineering budgets at tender stage and revised
budgets at project state.
• Monitor engineering man-hours expenses at project stage in
liaison with the Lead Engineers.
• Review engineering deliverables at tender stage or during
project.
• Participate and prompt Design Review Committee as required.

PROFIL RECHERCHE

Expérience : 8 à 10 ans

Niveau d'études : Bac +4

diplôme et/ou expérience en :
Civil Engineering
Mechanical, Structural Engineering,
Hydrodynamics,
Naval Architecture

Min. 10-15 ans d'expérience dans l'industrie offshore
Expérience en management et ingénierie

Compétences linguistiques souhaitées :
anglais courant
